Solar Juice Pro is a 5000 mAH mobile charger. I found that the “solar” part of it doesn’t really work, but otherwise it’s an OK charger. Not great, but OK.

Great review James! With all of the technological advancements we've made you would think this would be one of the easiest but evidently this ain't it :-). Enjoy watching your channel and reviews even if its something I have no interest in, just neat to see products put to the test. Keep up the good work!

thanks for review for the hottest product ever sold on tv lol. Was wondering if you review the nicer dicer.

Christopher Engell says:

Hi James, a few things you need to know. First, that solar charger is only 100 mah to 500 mah, so a very slow charge and all of these battery packs use a 3.7 volt battery and then step it up to 5 volts and that has a power loss of about 20%, so a 5000 mah battery will only put out about 4000 mah to 3500 mah. Last is the cables may only provide a 1 amp max, if you want the fastest recharge then you need a 2 amp cable from Anker a cable that says a 2.4 amp power cable but most are only a 1 amp cable.

Well shoot! I just ordered one yesterday! I was pretty excited to test it out until I watched your review. Lol I guess I'll try it out when I get it and see if I get the same results. Thanks for the review!

Definitely needs a name change. I need to know how you went several hours without using your phone while it was charging?😂😂 I need to work on using mine less. Thanks for the review😃

Good interview! I was wondering about how you placed the solar device on your window sill to charge. I also noticed that the window was covered with a reflective solar film which we use a lot in Phoenix. I believe the solar film removes some light properties that may be needed to activate the charging abilities of solar juice pro. Maybe placing the device facing toward the morning direct sun light and see if it does charge. Otherwise, I really like your reviews and hope to see more.

I appreciate my Halo Bolt a lot more now. Great review!!!

Blue bird says:

Hello there would you do a test with that again with the solar part but only this time when you use it don't drain the power down to nothing let it go low then charge it in the sun. You should then see that it will charge back up as long as you don't fully drain it. please do that and let us know how it tuns out. 🙂

Rosie Duarte says:

wow thats basically junk , so many wireless Chargers that charge up faster than that and the solar charging part is gimmicky , thanks for that review , I know not to buy it
